The room was filthy. Some sticky patch were seen on the floor which was very bad. Our checkin time was 1pm but the staff told the room won’t be available until 2pm. We weren’t allowed to sit in the hotel premises and were told it is because they are going to clean it up. We had to sit on the bus stop for 1 hour even though our checkin time had been passed. Arrogant staff overall

I booked this hotel because it was relatively cheap - at least compared to surrounding hotels near Gare de Lyon. I should have check the reviews. I arrived in the bedroom (room 6) - very small with a very odd/strong/chemical odour, like some fresh paint. I imagine that it came from the cleaning product used to clean the room. I was suspicious of bedbugs and I was indeed bitten a couple of times which’s was ok - more would have been a problem especially as I tend to have a strong reaction to them. Would not recommend, the lower price is not worth it (at least to me). Good reminder to check review before booking hotels - been a while since it has been a problem for me.

Bad place for stay. Prices and locations are the only positives there. Rooms are cold and there are bugs. One day my towels were taken and i was told, that I can get new ones tommoraw morning.

I just recently checked out of the hotel and realized I have been eaten alive by bugs! Upon reviewing my bites they are all in a row of three which based on my internet findings points to bed bugs. I just messaged my friend who was travelling with us & she is also covered in the same bites and is going to see the doctor about it today as she’s having a bad reaction!!! Absolutely would NOT recommend. I am uncomfortable with all my bites & had to deal with them on my long flight home & now I have to deep clean all of my things to make sure they didn’t come home with me. Absolutely would NOT recommend. Just as an FYI I was in Room 19! Avoid it at all costs!!!!
