We stayed here for 5 nights. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm. The beds were clean and there were small lockers to place your important belongings in. The bathroom on the other hand was small, it had a toilet and shower with a sink in there, but no hand soap which was a bit inconvenient. I often found myself using the bathroom in the hall because it had hand soap in it. The bathroom had a stench that didn’t really go away, I’m not quite sure what was causing it but we tried to keep the bathroom door closed as much as possible so it wouldn’t stink up the whole room. The kitchen was surprisingly stocked. There was an oven, microwave and 2 fridges!!! There was also heaps of cutlery, plates, pots, pans and even a strainer so we were able to cook a lot of our meals. There was an outside terrace to eat which was really nice. The staff were super super lovely and we were checked in by an Aussie guy who was very nice. The hostel is about 5 minutes away from the station which comes in super handy when you’re going around the Côte d’Azur. The bathroom was definitely an issue that should be fixed but overall we really really enjoyed our stay!!

We were worried after these google reviews but you get what u pay for. Rooms and beds were cleans staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location close to both beach and the train station which is ideal. Location is safe as you are just off a main drag, as two young girls we were fine walking home from beach at 2am. Staff are there 24/7 if you have any issues or can’t get in. Their are lights as soon as you enter you just have to turn them on. Great place to stay for cheap in Nice especially if you want to travel along the French riverside via train

Just so all of you are aware, i stayed at the hostel last week, checked out wednesday. I have called to speak to the owner and told them if he could call me, they said to email him. I have emailed him 3 times and no response. Just surprised me how the situation is handled when you have bed bugs in your hostel.

I stayed here during high season (july) so I believe they cleaned it a bit (fixed the beds and painted some of the walls). I read some reviews about the bed bugs, I personally didn’t see them in my room (i stayed in a private room with a bunk bed). Overall it was relatively clean. The price in my opinion is too high for the room but i only stayed for one night so it wasnt that bad. One of the downsides is that you can hear everything from your room. Every time someone flushes the toilet it sounds like a earthquake. The location is very sketchy, the building looks abandoned and dirty. The whole street is very sketchy. The only good thing about the location is how close it is to the train station. If you are staying for one or max two nights i would recommend it but you can probably find some hotel rooms with a similar price somewhere else. Its not bad but its not the best either.

There’s a reason why this hostel has a lot of negative reviews. It’s not for no reason. The photos do not look like the hostel at all In general, it is a very old and run down hostel. The bathrooms are very dirty and one of the toilets sometimes do not flush at all…..The showers in the room smell and make large clunking noises coming from a machine which isn’t normal
