Everything from rooms and cleanliness to staff and service was on par with what you'd expect from a Hyatt Place, which is to say that we were very satisfied with these aspects. We especially loved the breakfast. Additionally the location is very convenient if you're considering visiting the Saguaro national park or Sabino canyon area. And this brings me to the only downside - the gas station next door. There were a lot of homeless people in the area, be it at the entrance or the parking lot. So I can see how some folks might not feel safe around here. Personally I was more saddened than threatened by the presence of homeless people here. That being said, the staff do a good job of enforcing security and I honestly wouldn't worry too much, as long as you're not hanging out in shady areas after dark.

Great stay and great staff! Visited from Cali and will definitely come again! The person working the night shift was so awesome and friendly it really made my check in and experience worth it! I hate to bring up race but the gentleman who help me was an African American with excellent customer service skills if management is reading this post!

Centrally located, but not in a great area and I'm not sure many people would feel safe walking from their cars at night. The facilities are really dated and not in great condition, including the rooms. The staff were really nice, though it seems like this hotel doesn't get restocked very often (they were out of a couple of toiletries and wouldn't get a new shipment for over a month!).

No complaints about the room, it was clean and the bed was comfy. They had a great breakfast selection and the staff were very friendly. I had to use the business center to print a boarding pass, that was quick and easy. The pool was unfortunately very dirty with lots of pigeons - not sure how to fix that.... They have a fire pit, but sadly it was broken. The area is convenient for getting to the main roads, but it is a little sketchy - would suggest walking with a friend.

Don't stay here. The location is really really terrible. It's right off the freeway, and there was a large gathering of homeless people right outside the hotel entrance all day. We also had a terrible experience with customer service. Someone charged drinks to our room and the manager says that "they have to investigate" since someone signed a tab and wrote down our room number. It doesn't matter that it wasn't my signature, and I told them that they were not my drinks. So I guess if you want free drinks, go to the hotel, sign Room 312 and any signature.
