On Stone. Walk in 30 minutes or less to several pubs, restaurants, along 4th Ave,... Stayed 3 nights/ days in #101. Hot tub & pool open! Laundry room, free ice, I slept hours in king bed. Like this location cause it's extremely walkable to downtown. Chef Wang is just 30" walk. Time Market is close. The bus is FREE.

I really like the vibe of this place. Exterior has a quaint charm to it, but the interiors have been refurbished to a more modern, but not too modern, aesthetic. The mini fridge is bigger than most hotels have, much less motels. There's also a microwave. The staff is salt of the earth and funny. It isn't a swanky or frilly place, but if you like old school motels, this one has charm. The beds are a bit basic for folks that have any back issues or whatever. I love the old school neon sign, reminds me of being back in Vegas. You'll see some characters in the surrounding area.

The room was nice and clean. Plenty of parking. Prices were reasonable. You can tell it's been remodeled recently, and they did a good job. Water in the shower was good and hot. Huge bonus that pets stay free.

Not even 30 seconds after walking through the room door. I see a cockroach in the toilet. Which I was not able to get a picture of. Next, let's go over the unfinished work in the bathroom, texture and painting needed and the missing electrical plate at the vanity. Just ugly. The faucet at the vanity sink was installed improperly and is so loose. It literally feels like it's going to fall out and into the sink. Not only that, it only provides a trickle of hot water. The towel rack in the bathroom is extremely loose. I'd be surprised if 2 wet towels don't pull it off the wall. Wear and tear and a good size hole in the main lounge chair. There also looks to be what resembles blood stains all over the carpet near the threshold of the bathroom. The so called, "smart TV" would not connect to the local Wi-Fi here. So none of the options are even available, only standard cable. But, the biggest problem of all... Our room is right next to the back side entry door and there is no "soft-close" hydraulic arm on the door. Allowing the door to slam exceedingly loud, shaking the entire room every single time someone walks in or out of the building over on this back side. One of the worst rooms in Tucson. I will be filing a formal complaint

This is the second time that I've stayed here. The floors do not get clean enough if you walk around back And forth to the bed and restroom the bottom of my feet get black. Black black So be, aware of that the pool, is clean, so is the Jacuzzi But beware the bubbles do not work as they did not work Almost 2 years ago, the water's hot, but no bubbles. The maids That do room service, they are very nice. But they are afraid of dogs which is funny because it's a dog friendly hotel. And also beware the parking lot spaces are tiny. Because this is an old historical hotel and back in the day The vehicles were tiny so It can get a little cramped in the parking lot. Also, about the area, there's a lot of homeless around here, so be careful walking around especially at night. But they do keep it pretty clean around here.
