Absolutely stunning hotel with fabulous amenities. The gym and pool are tempting, even if you do not want to work out you will want to use those amenities. The food was delicious and the atmosphere enhanced the dining experiences. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful with service and recommendations and made the trip very smooth. The location is not far from airport and the shuttle service is reliable.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff. Close to airport and central Addis Ababa. Enjoyed the stay. Staff even moved me without incident when another guest started smoking and fumes entered my room. Lots of great places to hang out in hotel as well.

I used to love going to this place for brunch. The food was great and the service was very good. But yesterday except for the lady who greeted us at the restaurant, the rest of the staff were very negligent and sometimes even rude. We had to ask for every little thing That was supposed to be provided by them like bread and water. And we had to remind them at least twice to get our orders. And they give ridiculous reasons when asked why they didn’t bring something. Overall the service was very poor. The establishment has to focus on the training and attitude of these individuals. We were treated as if we were not there. The food was good even if some of the options that used to make the brunch wonderful were not there anymore.

On day 4 of 5 nights of my stay at the Hyatt Regency Addis and I’m truly blown away at the outstanding level of service and care. While I came to Addis to visit my father and celebrate NYE, he ended up falling sick and staying in the Hyatt with me. The level of attention received by the staff was unbelievable, from room service sending him complimentary soup and fruits to feel better to the sweet front office manager Genet ensuring he is comfortable and taken care of. Even asking me periodically how he is feeling. I’m truly impressed by her and the whole team at the Hyatt. The baristas at the lobby coffee bar are all exceptional and kind. This Hyatt location is undoubtedly 5 stars and as someone who has traveled all over the world, I have never experienced this level of thoughtfulness. Upon arrival, they also treated me to a bouquet of flowers due to being Explorist. This is 100% my go to hotel when visiting Addis moving forward. Thank you so much to this beyond lovely staff for such a memorable stay.
