I've stayed at the Hyatt multiple times in the past 2 months on business. This last trip I felt like I was coming home. It's comfortable, clean, and very nice atmosphere. The rooms are modern with nice views. I love this place!

Some rooms have been upgraded and they are decent. Toiletries need an upgrade in quality and toilets need soft closing covers. Very unique building, which makes it definitely stand out. Decent location as it actually has its own space, unlike most hotels in SF. Delicious breakfast buffet, the bacon is always perfect.

We had a superb time at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco over the Thanksgiving week! The location is sublime - directly across from the Ferry Building and within just a few steps of multiple options for public transportation. The architecture of the hotel is initially startling and a little overwhelming but we quickly grew to love the expansive interior view and the quick and efficient glass elevators. Our room had a lovely partial Bay view and a very nice balcony with chairs. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom with tub was large and very useful. The breakfast buffet was really a treat - lots of different items including a delectable shakshuka and the waffle station was a big hit with the kids! Truly great service and recognition of globalist benefits. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel is in a cool location, and is very nice. However, when I got there I was told that the room I had booked was not available, and I was made to pay more for a different room. This is a room that I had booked 3 months prior to my arrival AND prepaid. Hyatt did follow up post-stay about the issue and gave me some Hyatt points which at a glance seem to amount to something like $200. So that was very much appreciated.

Excellent option for a stay in downtown SF. Location is incredibly convenient at the beginning of the trolley line, across the street from the ferry building, and the street car stop allows for easy access to anywhere in the city or the surrounding area. The building itself is a bit of an architectural marvel as well, the main lobby is immense, and provides for an open and welcoming space. The services are excellent both breakfast and the convenience location are well stocked and have friendly and helpful staff. Concierge and transportation assistance are also available throughout the day. The staff throughout our stay were incredibly friendly and helpful. The views from the room are beautiful, and the balconies provide a nice tough to the room. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms very clean and stocked with everything you need. The rooms are beginning to show a little bit of wear, as the shower floor had some peeling, and the door would stick a bit. However, the benefits of this location are far too many to have minor issues like this detract from staying here. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area.
