This hotel was ideally located for getting around the beautiful city of Bordeaux. There was a tram line outside the hotel which gave access to the city as well as the airport. The staff at reception and the bar couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and were a credit to the IBIS Hotel group.

It was going to be a 3 out of 5 rating, as the hotel is situated in a walking distance to the centre and offers basic rooms at a reasonable price and the reception service was nice as well when we checked in. However the breakfast experience spoilt it all. No glasses, no cutlery, no mugs, no milk. You had to ask for everything and queued for ages. Very small selection of very basic food. The breakfast area could've done with a little clean as it was pretty untidy and disorganised. Could definately do with another coffee machine. Overall 2 out of 5 with a room for improvement. Speaking of rooms, Small, Basic, Budget... But that's what we paid for.
