Decent hotel for the location. Not much extra room; no place to put your suitcase, clean towels the next day, but the bed was not made, nor the floor vacuumed. But the location, right in the center, was fabulous. The breakfast was buffet style, with enough choices.

The bathroom was "tight" for a tall person however the room was very nice, bed comfortable, the breakfast was nothing short of excellent. The best breakfast variety of foods I've had at a hotel in a long time. They also have a bar downstairs if you don't want to go out too late. Overall, it was a nice stay with helpful attendees.

Centrally located in the historic Center of Ghent, perfect for sightseeing. Friendly, helpful staff, clean, spare, very small room. A large person may be uncomfortable but for us it was fine. Very nice breakfast buffet.

Ibis Gent Centrum St Baafs Kathedraal is situated in an excellent location, right across from the bustling Christmas market. This prime location also offers easy access to various landmarks, making it ideal for sightseeing. The hotel staff is known for their kindness and helpfulness, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. The only drawback is the bed, which is exceptionally firm, almost as hard as a rock. Despite this, the hotel's overall family-friendly atmosphere, comfortable amenities, and convenient location make it a great choice for families and travelers exploring Gent.

This was the second time for me in this, IBIS. On the floors in the hallways, you can clearly see that this is a little bit of an older IBIS however, the rooms are good, the bar restaurant is updated and the location is absolutely fantastic. Keep in mind, it is quite hard to find by car since it is in the pedestrian zone and also Gent has a low emission zone. Breakfast was good. The staff is very welcoming and very kind. I especially want to mention Charlie, who was very welcoming upon our arrival and also Manti working in the bar was amazing. She was really going the extra mile when for example seeing that my mom had really cold hands, she gave us two hot mugs so we could keep our hands around it and warm up again. This hospitality, going the extra mile! We had a great stay and we’ll definitely will be coming back whenever we go to Gent.
