We were booked by Star tours. The rooms were little crammed after kids bed. Very little space after the bed and can't move much. Service was good during breakfast and other matters. Location was little out of town, but must be budget friendly.

Decent location with some good places to eat nearby. I guess the only issue is the very noisy fridge in the room and as some mentioned summer time it can get hot in the room. On the positive - you get a voucher to get to the town by bus (takes only 15 min) but if you arrive at the hotel by car then you have to park in Media Mark parking.

Absolutely perfect. The room, location and service was amazing. McDonald's is 5minutes walking distance. There is a mall right next to the hotel and bus stand and railway station at a 5mins walk. The staff at reception was very helpful as well.

Mediocre hotel in the town of Kriens, just outside of Luzern. The room are spacious, but kinda outdated. Bed was okay. Really missed a power outlet near it though. And there was only one outlet in the whole room. No airconditioning available, instead you can make use of a fan which is available in the room. I wouldnt recommend a visit here in summer, cause it will get very hot. Was already pretty warm in the room at 23 degrees outside. Bathroom was okay, also a bit outdated yet clean. Breakfast was alright, but I got much better ones at ibis hotels before. Its on the sunny side of the building so again the breakfast area will warm up quite a bit. Location is really convenient if youre passing and want a place to say. For a city trip its not that convenient. You will get a free public transport ticket for the Luzern area though and the Mattenhof station is about a 10 min walk and the centre a further 5 min by train. Not much to do in the area itself. Staff was friendly if you ask them something, but dont expect any friendly good mornings or hello if you walk in or pass anyone of the employees. Also the whole lobby, bar and sitting area feels very uninviting and def not cosy. All in all I wouldnt come back here in the future but its an okay place to sleep if you have a stopover.

I was on a family trip in Switzerland back in September 2018. We reached Hotel ibis Luzern Kriens in the afternoon from Interlaken, tired and hungry. I asked the receptionist if they have any food. He said we have pizza. Yey great we all will have some delicious pizza for lunch or so we thought. After 10 min we were served frozen pizzas heated in a microwave owen. I felt like hitting the staff. Never going back there again.
