This was my second time staying at this hotel although it was my first time paying for it with my own card and that‘s where my main problem was with this hotel. The overall service and stay was fine and lived up to my expectations and also the area is very nice and a mix of quiet but still close to everything (train, supermarket etc). But I chose the option of paying my bill in the hotel and reserving without pre payment (this option also cost more but i still picked it). 2 nights were supposed to cost 320€. The morning of my booking before I even arrived at the hotel they took 450€ out of my account. I wasnt too worried yet i thought okay it‘s a security deposit i am sure when I actually check in in the evening they will just reduce the amount to my actual booking amount which is 130€ less. After checking in then the first shock they just charged an additional 320 on my card. So now in total the charges were 770€ (more than double my rate). They assured me thought that when checking out I would receive the 450 € back. So, when we checked out the man at the counter didn‘t understand me properly and instead of booking the 450 back he just reduced it to 320 (on top of the 320 I already paid). So now I paid the room rate twice. After following up with them they said it would be booked back which 5 days have passed and the money is still not on my bank account. Although I understand that it takes longer to book money accross countries, having such a large amount blocked for so long after my stay (i have never been at a hotel who does that to begin with) I have to say I am very unhappy about it and it kind of left me not wanting to come back even though I thought this would become my go to hotel in Paris.

Very mess and awful experience for their booking system and customer service. Problem of system: No direction to the payment page to enter the code, directly failed the booking or show a false booking then cancel after a few hours without notification. Problem of call service: 1. Not helpful, problem not solved. 2.Not efficient, more than 5 minutes wasted for a simple email address; a booking created without linked with my Accor account number, with wrong information (2 person instead of 1), without using the points as i asked...3.call after call after call, time is waste without any real solution. I was always with Hilton, just wanted to change to Accor because of their qty of hotel, But it turns out to be very disappointed..... Service of Hilton is 10000% times better than Accor....😂😂😂

Generally I would not recommend this area for business or tourists. Bercy Village is modern and appears to be quite nice at days, but at night right in front of the Hotel Homeless People and Drug dealers roam the streets and behind the house the ugly side of Paris arises. Not a safe area. Also the hotel looks quite new but the rooms are tiny and you can't even walk around your bed without either bumping into the TV at the wall or crawling over the bedside. AC was broken and 34°C in the room at night. Breakfast was mediocre. Better breakfast is to be found in the shopping mall across the street.

Great location. Conveniently accessible via the line 14 which serves most of the Paris city center and historical sites. The area near the hotel is also very nice with the Bercy Village and all the restaurant, cinema, supermarket right across the street. Room is clean but a bit small which require some organization when trying to open multiple big luggages. No fridge in the room.
