Pros: - friendly and helpful staff - small common area available in lobby - 5min walking to a metro station and some bus stops - neighborhood had a “local” feel - AC is very effective - showers have good water pressure Cons: - I stayed in a single room with a full sized bed and it was incredibly small - barely had room to open up one carry on suitcase without blocking the already small walkway so I worry how this would’ve worked if I was traveling with another person - small hotel rooms are the norm in Paris though, especially at this price point - questionably clean rooms - towel had lipstick stain on it - some showers in other photo reviews look different but at least my room had a very tiny shower stall and because of the high water pressure, a lot of water spilled over in the bathroom - I also just had very little space to maneuver in the shower I only needed to stay here one night so it suited my needs, especially at the price I paid. Evaluate what you need out of a hotel stay - if you just need a place to stay and are not picky about size and amenities, this place will do the job.

Friendly staff that was helpful when we checked in after a long flight and also when we checked out. This place is about 15 min walk from Denfert Rochereau station which is a direct 35 min on the RER B from CDG. The walk in the night isn't too scary or dangerous. It's also a few minutes walk from M4 and M13 lines on the metro and there are many food options available. Rue Daguerre is also about 10 minutes walk. Rooms are smallish but this is Paris. Just be careful of that thing under the TV which can snag your clothes. This neighbourhood is very quiet and we overslept.

This is a nice hotel in a quiet street in the 14th arrondissement away from the tourist junk in the centre. You stay there among the Parisians which is a relief. My room was not big but very convenient with everything I needed. And moreover on the top floor at the back with even a view of a small garden below. The breakfast buffet was nice and more then sufficient for me At both ends of the Rue du Château, in which the hotel is located, there are some nice restaurants Hope to be back one day
