Detail: Location - 5*. We drove there and it is really easy to find and navigate to. Car Park - 5*. While not owned by the hotel, the car park entrance was right next door leading to an underground car park. Plenty of spaces when we arrived (Tuesday afternoon at 3pm) and a very reasonable fee of just under 27 euros for 2 days. The lift brings you out directly opposite the hotel entrance. Check-in - 5*. Very straightforward. Room - 3*. Very basic, a bit small and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Clean and comfy and warm though. Bar/Restaurant - 48. Would have been 5* except for limited restaurant menu. Food and drink that we had was good though. However, so many great places to eat out so plan on doing that. Staff - 5*. Especially the chap looking after the bar (sorry did not get name). Really friendly and helpful and so knowledgeable. Summary - ideal location and easy to get to. Breakfast good, bar good but plan to eat out in town as restaurant choice limited.

Lovely staff but the room could have been a better standard. Saying that the bed was very good but curtains with wholes, unable to turn the heating down and overall a fatigued looking room in need of being refurbished. It also looked like car parking was included when we booked it, just to find out we had to pay it separate.

Had a great stay here. We had to check out of Hotel Putje as they did not supply a good service and the Ibis welcomed us immediately at 1:30am. This we are very grateful for and especially Thomas who was working the reception that evening was simply amazing. Can’t thank this hotel enough for making our experience of Brugge fun and enjoyable! Thanks again!
