Room 19 is authentic! It is like living in a palace or a wealthy merchant's house and had some fun secrets! Everything was comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful. Location is very good. We had a marvelous time.

A lovely old restored building. The room was excellent with high ceilings and a good bed with large bathroom. A good buffet breakfast and nice coffee. Staff were excellent. Location is perfect as near to the centre with an underground public car park around the corner.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would choose it again. The location is excellent, as it is located on a quiet street near all the tourist sites. The breakfast is good and features the usual variety of breads, eggs, meats, and cheeses. The staff were all gracious and helpful in many ways, from calling cabs, providing ice packs for sore tourist joints, and changing our room when we reported a problem. While the decor is worn and could use some refreshing, the architectural features of this former mansion make it an interesting place to stay.

The hotel was very picturesque. It was a large renovated private residence. The room we stayed in was rather small, but was very charming. Other rooms were larger (for additional pricing). The staff was very nice and accommodating. The location was in a delightful area, just a few blocks from city center, canals, shops and restaurants. Parking was a few blocks away in a public parking garage (18 euros per day). Bruges is a beautiful city. Overall, a very nice stay.

Jan Brito is a beautiful hotel if of course you are a fun of this 16th century architecture. The location is perfect to move around on foot an see everything also close to bus stop for bus 1, 2 & the shuttle bus. Our room (nr 28) was very warm and cozy despite the fact that it was extremely small. The only problem was the bathroom. TOO Close to the bed and with a glass door from which your partner can SEE & HEAR EVERYTHING. This is not good I am telling this with good intentions. Also a carpet on the floor would be nice.
