The rooms are not large but you get what you pay for. Find for a night or two. After that you might get annoyed. There is barely enough room to get past the TV at the end of the bed. Breakfast was good but 30% or more was bread based including cakes. Staff are really friendly and good level of English. I chose a room on the front and it wasn't quiet but not loud either. Managed to sleep.

Nice breakfast, good shower, the room is a little small, but it was ok. The staff is helpful. The location was ok. I recommend this place.

The place is well located with the subway practically across the street, and here ends the only good thing about the place. People in the frontdesk make sure that they cannot and will not accommodate any need that you may have, it does not matter if small or big, their faces ostent a pale almost morbid smile, always brushing all out. The bed is just horrible! The day before my departure a noisy and very smoky generator was connected (not sure if it was a power failure or "doing tests"), the whole building was full of horrible toxic smoke that filled the rooms and hallways, (it was almost criminal). I will get my money back, referent that day, for sure. Please stay in any other place, avoid IBIS STYLE - IN BOTAFOGO - RJ

The room was great. I'd score them with 5 stars for the price, but there were issues with the air conditioner and the water tabs. Service, again, was excellent, just that on the restaurant people were extremely slow (40 minutes for a regular cheese burger) and almost lost a meeting. On the other hand, the reception ladies were extremely helpful and polite, and helped us move rooms when the AC broke. For my purpose at this trip (a concert, not holidays nor beach trip, having to work from the room on the day) the location was great as it has restaurants, pharmacies and most importantly, a metro station at a short walking distance

It does not have maintenance and the receptionist are all rude. My room had the sink broken, the door making noise, the TV with wire exposed, the bathroom did not have soap courtesy. The restaurant had a leak in the roof. The mattress is too hard. The room does not have enough space. Does not have a good place to work. I think is too expensive for what is offering. Even the red flag Ibis is better than this one.
