Il Fiore D'Oro Luxury Holiday House

It’s far from being luxury. First, this isn’t really a hotel, it’s more kind of a pension on the 4th floor of a normal Italian apartment. People come in and out all the time from their normal apartments, doesn’t feel really safe. The room? Not the cleanest. The seats were dirty, the bed as well. The room had air conditioning and yes a nice and spacious bathroom- unfortunately, not many room for amenities. The street at night is a bit scary. Strange people around, doesn’t feel safe. In the morning you are awaken by crazy people screaming outside, because there’s a market right on the door. Breakfast is poor - no option for someone that does not eat pork, as well as not many fresh things. The cappuccino was amazing tho, the location is cute! Staff was friendly, they helped us, could communicate in English as well. I think they just need to fix the rooms, re-paint it, change beddings and not call it “luxury”, then we would not really have high expectations. The photos on booking are not real - yes, the things are there, but are not clean. Many things to fix, unfortunately. Cause we liked the staff, and even with the crazy street and strange people, we like the location.

We had a lovely stay here! If you book a room, you should expect self check-in process which includes a bit stressful'ish WhatsApp messaging procedure and check-in with video instructions, but after letting few swear words out while trying to get the door open while trying to connect to online system and following YouTube video – everything went well! Rooms are more than excellent for the price, comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms. Breakfast in the 5th floor terrace was also beyond any expectations and the receptionist was so kind , lovely and friendly. So: self check-in definitely asked for some patience after long day of travelling, but everything else was perfetta! Grazie mille!
