We booked 18hrs before arrival, arrived at 2AM, they didn't even flinch for the late check in and send us all the instructions quickly with no deposit at all and trusted us. Of course you have to speak with some of them on whtsp so they can translate, but some of the staff speak really good english. The rooms are very correct and cleaned every dayday with new towels. Shower could be more waterproof ;) Keep up the good work guys!

The hotel is quite cute but there are some things that could be improved in terms of service and communication: Hotel staff was hard to reach unfortunately. One day we even ended up having no towels and had to dry out after taking a shower. Location in terms of transport is great, just a minute away from subway (metro), Vatican is also just around the corner. If you are in Rome for a day or two you can definitely stay here, just make sure to ask all the questions and to communicate everything to the staff when checking in.

After our flight for Rome was cancelled, the complete inability for any kind of communication in English on the part of the hotel gave us the false impression that it was possible to change the dates of our stay. The result was that we did not look for other means of transportation for the next day and ultimately lost the money for our stay, since the hotel did not return our reservation money or agreed for a change in the dates either. Conclusion: be very careful with your arrangements with this particular hotel in case you are not fluent in Italian…

Worst hotel experience ever. After making our reservation for 4 nights and receiving a confirmation for this reservation, we arrived at the hotel. First we had to wait 20 minutes (after calling two times) before we were let in (by a grumpy staff-member) and after we were received in an unfriendly manner, it became clear that they didn't schedule our reservation. So bassically we had no place to sleep. We had to find a solution on our own innitiative because they weren't helpfull at all (bad communication, unprofessional). They also made false promises about compensations but we never heard from them again. Would definitely not recommend!

This was our family's first visit to Italy and we stayed at Il Gattopardo. From the welcome we got from Dahlia to the friendly cleaning lady and the beautiful rooms- everything was great. We got help with food reservations and directions to the train and supermarket. The location is ideal to walk to the Vatican and get on a quick bus ride to the Colloseum or the Pantheon. I would stay here again!
