We were in october 2023 here. Small hotel, location is excellent, very near to subway. The room was okay, nothing special. Our room was a bit noisy in the ground floor (breakfast preparation at 8.00 and the main entrance closes very loudly.) Nice staff, kind guy at the reception. Basically was okay for overnight, we didn't go to Rome to stay in a hotel. (On the picure: view from the terrace to the neighbour building.)

Overworked receptionist. Poor guy doesn't get a day off and works from 7am to 8pm. Shame on the owners for exploiting him. The room was chilly. The radiators couldn't heat the room effectively and the AC unit didn't work properly, so no heat from that either. The mattress was old and needed replacing. Instead a mattress topper was in place as a quick fix. It fixed nothing. My partner has back issues and after 2 nights sleeping on it destroyed her back. The TV wouldn't turn on, the hairdryer tripped out after 2 minutes of use. No kettle, cups/glasses or tea/coffee. When I asked for a coffee, I was told that was for breakfast only but I can have a kettle for the room and tea. Why instant coffee is a no-go and tea isn't, makes no sense to me. Breakfast is cake, sandwich and Italian style croissant. The coffee is OK. They have a coffee machine. All in all a very disappointing experience. I paid €155 for 2 nights discounted and I feel I got a bad deal.

Very irresponsible. Vague information about billing. I set a card when I booked a room, but nothing was charged. In an email they sent information: “The hotel will debit your credit card upon receipt of the reservation.” I brought cash with me to pay since for several months nothing was charged from the card. Then when I was 15minutes from the hotel at the day of booking, 4h before check in, they called me to say that booking was canceled because card was declined. They tried to bill 4h before check in, canceled, and did not bother to call to check with us anything before canceling, even though I transferred enough money to that card at least 30 minutes before they called to say that was canceled. On my bank statement there were no refused payments so I am not sure if they even tried to bill anything. Awful experience, avoid this property.

I can't explain the good ratings here. It's not good at all. It's somewhat okish not great, not good but not horrible. Breakfast was not good, coffee was ok, the croissants they normally in Italy have are good, the ones in the hotel are not good or fresh. The bathroom was not great, some mold was growing in the shower. A/C worked. Sheets seems to be clean. Mosquitos everywhere nothing to protect you from it. We even had ants that bite in our room. Room is very small. The good thing is that the metro station is not far away and the service was nice. Everything else was ok, but not great. In my opinion very overpriced for what you get in other cities. I wouldn't book it again to be honest even tho I have not high expectations, I was still kinda dissatisfied with what we got. Not really like the pictures.

** READ BEFORE BOOKING ** Do NOT stay here!!!! Our stay began fine with the reception and workers being very nice and welcoming. The room and facilities were decent. Looked cheaply renovated though. After the first night things went downhill really quick. The host began to make us feel very uncomfortable from a few encounters we had. We were told that the owner can see when you leave your room unattended with A/C on, which made us wonder if our rooms had cameras or some kind of sensors for them to know that?? We were then threatened if we didn’t turn off the A/C when we left our room that they would completely shut it off from our room. It was understandable to ask us to turn off our AC when not there but the threat was a bit much when you have a paying customer. Additionally, our last night there we had no power in our room when we returned from dinner. We did not see a receptionist around so couldn’t get it turned back on but all the lights in other rooms and the hallway worked… leading us to believe they only shut ours off. The AC still worked at least, but we couldn’t charge our phones. When we told the receptionist the following day he said “Well that’s your mistake for not telling us” even though we told him that no one was there. Lastly, they would go into our room everyday to make the bed but no new towels or trash taken out. This was a very unusual turndown service and honestly just seemed like a way to snoop through our stuff.
