We were a small party of six and we stayed in Imperium Residence for a long weekend in November 2021. We were extremely happy with our accommodation. The apartment is perfectly situated in the old town and therefore everything is within a short walking distance – main tourist attractions, restaurants, caffees, shopping streets and, most importantly for us, the Vienna State Opera is just around the corner. The apartment is very well kept and superbly equipped with everything one could possibly need. The rooms are elegantly decorated, spacious and very comfortable. The beds deserve a separate comment as they are simply divine! The staff is very welcoming and helpful, ready to provide information or help if needed. It’s a nice feeling to have a local expert just a phone call away!

Our party of six were able to enjoy two luxurious nights at Imperium Residence, and HATED to leave! Location? Ten star! Decor and feel? Another 10 star! Think top drawer classy at the peak of the Austrio-Hungarian Empire meets Architectural Digest chic--all in the same location! Am unable to conceive of anything they did not intentionally anticipate for travelers. The Viennese coffees, the books, barware, bathroom amenities and fixtures--In less than six hours, it felt like 'home', only it was an in-town palace built for the Schwarzburg family in 1771! Easy access to public transportation, the sights in the Historic District, gourmand food just out the front door (many choices). Alion and Jelena were terrific hosts, great recommendations and very helpful with every request. They would receive my highest possible recommendation for their very elegant property. Can not wait to return! My only sadness was that I was unaware of AirBnB's policy of having to review properties within two weeks.
