INNSiDE by Meliá Düsseldorf Hafen

Been there for an overnight stay, the view of the harbour from the room was exceptionally gorgeous. To be precise one of the best location to stay to enjoy the city line and Rhein from room and bath. Room was extremely clean and great amenities.The entire room, corridors and the hotel had a unique scent which I wanna buy on my next visit 💯. Also to add, inclusive Mini bar was a plus point. Special thanks to the front office team which was really nice, friendly and helpful while checking in and even later.

Me, my partner and our 2 year old Golden Retriever spent a night here. I am giving only 2 stars because of the following reasons: we booked a room early during the day and when we arrived around 17:30, our room was not cleaned yet. We had to take dog for a walk as part of our daily routine, but we couldn't leave our laptops and valuables in the car parked in the garage, as it was not safe. Fortunately, the personnel from the reception was extremely helpful and kind to keep our stuff safe with them at the reception until we returned from our walk and our room would be cleaned. The hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday so we had dinner in the city, which was not a problem for us, as terraces are all pretty pet friendly. We returned later that evening and we were given the key card to our room that was supposedly cleaned. When we entered the room, we were shocked to find it completely untouched by cleaning personnel - bed was not done, minibar was empty, towels were used. We were given another room on the same floor, and next day at breakfast there was a small misunderstanding because we appeared in the system with the old room number and under the new room number that we mentioned there was no breakfast included. The most annoying part was that in the morning we hung the DND sign on the door and at 8:30 cleaning personnel barged in the room and our dog reacted to this. I find this very disrespectful. However, I would like to end on a positive note: the restaurant where we had breakfast is on the last floor 16, it has a great view and they allow pets, even if it is inside. The food is delicious and there is a lot of variety to choose from. Unfortunately, because of the issues we encountered with the cleaning personnel at this specific hotel, we do not plan to return here, however I am very happy with the experiences at other hotels from INNSiDE chain and we will definitely return in other locations with our doggy.
