Istanbul Palace Hotel

The manager, Yilmiz, was arrogant throughout our stay. When we asked him for new sheets and towels, he denied because apparently they only change those AFTER 3 nights of the guests' stay. Truly the most preposterous thing we've heard from a hotel. These are bare necessities a hotel, even if it's cheap and has 3 stars or less, should provide. Yilmiz is a man so proud that he does not want to trouble himself for his hotel guests. Apparently his "40 years of experience in this field" is his reason to deny any complain you will have against him. I can see why even after 40 years, your hotel still hasn't grown, Yilmiz. Truly a shame. In addition to that, the bidet in the toilet was not in working condition and the toilet itself was smelly. When we told the manager, he said he'll look into it but never did anything about it. It was as if he only said so to get us out of his hair. We asked him to have our room floor brushed on our 3rd day, to which he said okay but nobody came to clean the floor. The location is great, that's about the only reason you'd stay here. This hotel isn't suitable for families. Please choose to save your happiness over your money. Find a hotel that provides bare necessities.

You cant sit on the toilet straight since It was small and there was a horrible smell The bed sheets were dirty smelly a'nd had hair on them The room was smaller then described Nothing was clean The shower and tv didnt work They refused to refund me or change the room The room didnt have a window It was worce than a jail cell
