Everything was pretty much great - except for the fact that we did not get served in the restaurant/bar one day. (Why? Good question the waiter/bartender kinda just ignored us) And yes, the restaurant was open that day. Other than that the people working there are so nice and welcoming! Will definitely stay there again on my next trip!

Very disappointing. The receptionist upon arrival said 'we don't accept cash' in a very grumpy manner. I was handed the room key with no mention of the hotel facilities or the location of our room. We weren't even informed there was a restaurant, or what time to check out in the morning. The room smelt of urine, no visible signs of poor hygiene, but hard to be certain with the poor lighting. Didn't feel welcome, just eager to take our money, and return to their computer on reception!

Really nice hotel. Not much to complain about. We weren't explained about the parking charge when we checked in. We did have to ask about breakfast, and find out where it was on the morning. The bed was a little soft, and turning the bathroom light on was very difficult because of the location, but apart from those little things, it was lovely. I'd definitely go back, especially knowing what I know now after staying once.

Location is good, easy walk to and from the city centre so could leave the car for the duration of our stay. Andrew on reception was super helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was less of a success.... Nice comfortable bed, and nicely presented. But the windows didn't shut properly, broken locks, so tended to slip open, and, even when shut, did not keep the street noise, of which there was plenty, out, so we were woken earlier than we wanted both mornings. Also, the net curtains had a dubious stain, so clearly the cleaner never looks out the window.... Breakfast was OK, but nothing special.

The rooms are nice. Our stay was affected by poor service. I spoke with ' A' and confirmed I could have a purchase shipped to the hotel. 'A' said yes, absolutely....and she would make a note for other staff. The package arrived the very next day and 'A' was the one to receive it. She sent it to the beverage manager, although our name was on the package. When we arrived the next day, we asked about the package repeatedly, but everyone denied it had arrived. I ended up flying out without my package. The company I made the purchase from confirmed through the shipper that 'A' received the package. I contacted the hotel and asked that they ship the package to me (international shipping). They refused, and were quite rude about it. No apology or acknowledgment of error - blamed the company who sent it to me, saying our name wasn't easy to read on the label. I sent the general manager an email to provide the information about what transpired, but it was intercepted by reception who provided the rude response. We would not stay again.
