Absolutely wonderful hotel situated in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre. Clean, well-stocked rooms and a dining room with excellent-quality food. The staff are very attentive, polite and professional. A huge thank you in particular to Will, who truly went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay.

We went for a short city break and not disappointed at all. Location was really good. The staff friendly and helpful. I could left my luggage’s until I took my train. The location was really good , 4 mins to the royal mile taking one of the closes. Just the toilet little bit small but equipped with all the necessary things. Thank you very much for everything

Superb! Where do I start: location- a quick 5 minute walk to the hotel from the tram station. Although construction was present on street and station, I did ask a member of the station which route would be best and they were super helpful pointing me in the right direction. Upon check in- I was immediately greeted and checked-in rather quickly. I can’t recall if I was early or on time to check in, but a room was ready for me upon arrival. The room- I have never felt more greeted entering a room than that of my stay at Leonardo. I enjoyed the Executive level room, which I recommend the update! The accommodation felt homey; homey enough that I canceled a walking tour just to enjoy my room. I enjoyed breakfast both days that I was there. Kym, the hostess for breakfast, was warm and welcoming, so polite and you can genuinely feel she cares for the guests. As she made rounds to double check on everyone, it really brought a smile. Beds are cozy, TV had great selection of channels, bathroom was wonderful, and so very clean. The towel warmer- you spoil me! The safe in the room was working and I felt my items to be secure whilst touring. Check out- so sorry I don’t remember the gentleman’s name, but I had a few questions about the chocolate company they host and about a membership to the Leonardo Royal company. He was very patience, genuine, and I didn’t feel I was bothering him with my chocolate nonsense. Anyways- this was just a perfect experience for myself, and as a solo traveler I couldn’t have felt more taken care of, safe, and encouraged to enjoy the things that make me happy. What a great Christmas Season experience. I will, purposefully, be back! *I did not have children with me, but saw many families with children of all ages and everyone seemed to be happy! I would say this place is kid friendly without compromising the luxury aspect of the place. There’s luxury, and then, apparently, there’s Royal. -Thanks!

Leonardo Royal turned out to be a great choice for my trip to Edinburgh. Initially reluctant because of the medium rating and the lack of sufficient restaurant pics, but I selected it because of the great location (indeed it was) and the low price (£129). Although my room was standard (looking at the back) following my request, they offered me an accessible room 324) overlooking Carlton Hill (and the less pretty train station). Room was cosy and well maintained, with a small double bed (that can be an issue for two people). Espresso machine, tea and cookies. A mistake on having my room cleaned the right time was adequately addressed by the staff, offering 2 complimentary drinks. Breakfast room was nice but a bit fuzzy due to high occupancy. Food selection adequate, including an omelette station, a bit short on sweet options.

Hey there! I just wanted to quickly share my experience with you for review purposes. I recently stayed at a fabulous hotel, and I must say, the hotel room and customer service were absolutely amazing! I had such a fantastic time. I highly recommend everyone to choose this hotel when visiting this city. It is conveniently located near everything, making it super convenient to explore and enjoy all the attractions. Take my word for it, you won't be disappointed!
