Our visit to this captivating place never ceases to amaze me. It is a City of Contrasts. As you walk through the cobbled streets of the Old Town, you are transported back in time. The majestic Edinburgh Castle, perched atop an ancient volcanic hill, dominates the skyline. Its centuries-old stones whisper tales of battles and royal intrigue. In stark contrast, the New Town offers a glimpse of Georgian elegance with its neoclassical architecture and wide avenues. Edinburgh’s cultural richness unfolds before you with The Royal Mile bustling with street artists and musicians, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Tartan souvenirs, from woollen scarves to kilts, and handcrafted jewellery, are a treasure trove of Scottish craftsmanship. For a scenic escape for a dose of natural beauty, we ventured to Arthur’s Seat, an extinct volcano in the heart of the city. With a breathtaking view, offering a serene escape from the urban hustle. Nice colorful place. One of the best places in Edinburgh. Lots of shops are there. There is also a Harry Potter shop(its good for HarryPotter lovers).
