Great eel plate! So so good! Shrimp tempura was amazing! Yes I got both! Shared with my fams. Couldn’t see outside but was peaceful from feeling like sardines outside! Food was really good, worth trying. Price was great too!

The place was located beside the ghibli store Kyoto. Random picked this restaurant but it was really nice. Unfortunately didn’t take a lot of photos bcs in a hurry. The soba noodle is really chewy and perfectly cooked. Pairs really well with the soba sauce and tasty even only eaten with the sauce. The roasted duck is smoky and juicy as well but kinda disappointed with only 3 pieces of duck, I wanted more 😂 The staff is friendly and the place is neat. There is mini garden inside the restaurant. Overall its a nice restaurant with authentic soba dish

I ordered Unagi bowl, cold soba and hot upon. Everything taste was really good and very delicious. Highly recommend! Space has much more than I expected inside!

We waited for about 15 to 20min before seated during lunch time. While we waited, the line grew a lot longer. It's expected in this crowded area near kiyomizu dera, so try to come slightly early to skip the line. We ordered a yuba sashimi set with duck soba noodles, a yuba bowl set with soba noodles, and a tempura set. The service was really nice and they have an English menu. The waitress was so attentive as she was explaining things in Japanese and gesturing the items. I would recommend both dishes.
