Karon Butterfly Residence is a fantastic place to stay for anyone looking to visit the beautiful island of Phuket. From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted with friendly and attentive staff who will go out of their way to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The rooms at Karon Butterfly Residence are spacious, modern, and well-appointed. Each room comes equipped with all the amenities you could need, including air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a comfortable bed. The rooms are also impeccably clean, and the housekeeping staff does an excellent job of maintaining them. The location of Karon Butterfly Residence is another highlight. It's just a short walk from the stunning Karon Beach, which offers beautiful views and plenty of opportunities for swimming and water sports. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars in the area, so you won't have to venture far to find excellent food and drink. But perhaps the best thing about Karon Butterfly Residence is the service. The staff are always on hand to help with any request, whether it's booking a tour, arranging transportation, or just providing recommendations for things to see and do in the area. Their level of attention and care truly sets Karon Butterfly Residence apart from other hotels in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend Karon Butterfly Residence to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Phuket. The rooms are excellent, the location is ideal, and the staff are exceptional. It's truly a gem of a hotel.

We were here for 7 days but not entirely comfortable. We made a reservation through booking and when we arrived at the hotel they made us an additional charge (cleaning, water and electricity) in 7 days they only cleaned 1 time. They should put that extra charge in their ads. The rooms are decent, some things looked old or rusty, the rest was fine. We had a problem with a trip as they are located on a large hill, the bus did not want to go up and supposedly someone from the hotel told him that we were not staying there and we lost the full day. (We made a claim with the other company, they also should have called us and confirmed) I recommend renting a vehicle or motorcycle, especially if you have a knee problem or are traveling with someone older.

at the beginning I thought it was a hotel like all the others but after I was there with my love it completely changed my idea first of all I'm talking to you about the great view of the swimming pool on one side of sallon and on the other side of the jungle the service and reachable 24/7 the employers are helpful and kind you can find all the necessary in the kitchen the strong and free connection reachability of all kinds of transport

We booked an apartment here in the summer for the winter and paid for it. A week before arrival, the owner canceled the reservation because he wanted more money. But judging by the reviews, we got off easy. I don't recommend doing business with him. Update for the owner's answer: "He" - the owner. No one cares whether it is a man or a woman, the review is written about a terrible situation that happened. If you changed the name of the Google Maps point from Karon Butterfly to another, this doesn't mean that there will be no review. It's still the same place and the main problem is bad and unreliable management.

*Edit below* Clean, quiet, spacious and very friendly front desk girl and cleaning staff. Only reason it's a 4/5 is due to the long uphill walk to get here. It's doable for younger people but not for older or bad knees. EDIT: changed from 4/5 to 1/5 due to owner's unprofessionalism that ruined our experience here. We were willing to overlook the strenuous uphill and give it a 4/5 as it would work out for younger traveller's and still had beneficial qualities. However, due to my mother's and my knees, we had shorten our stay and inquired about a refund. The owner replied very defensively and started pointing fingers at us? He (we believe it's the white gentleman working in the back office and not the front desk girl as Thai people have been nothingbut kind,) made up conversations about a speed boat we never had and threw a very familiar comment citing, "you are impossible to please." A simple, "we're sorry but our policy states that we can't give refunds" would have sufficed and we would have been happily on our way. It seems like the owner has a hard time taking constructive feedback from customers and it's quite unfortunate. This place has great potential if it can address the steep uphill from the main street to the building entrance, but for now it seems they are not interested in the feedback they are getting from customers. Be aware that they charge you electricity fees each day. Also, excursion vans do not meet you at the condo as it absolutely ruins their bumpers (the only 2 vans willing to go up the hill had painful screeches accompanying their drive up despite going inch by inch). They request you to meet them at the bottom of the hill because it is too steep for cars, and this downhill walk has also been a strain on my knees. It would have been nice if this was mentioned in the description as it is not suitable for those with disabilities, the elderly, or those in wheelchairs. The office hours are also limited, from 9:00AM to 17:00PM so it was very difficult to get a hold of anyone as we were out for excursions all day. Tldr: stay if you're up for the challenge of walking up and down steep hills (~150m); cheap and spacious; excursion vans do not go up; office hours only 9-5; electricity fees; defensive owner reaction when provided feedback.
