We loved our stay at Karon Sea Sands in January 2024. It's a small and friendly family-owned hotel with a quiet and mellow vibe. That is, it's not a rocking party joint, but a friendly place to kick back by the pool, walk across the street to the beach, or just chill in the A/C. Rooms are spacious (a bit dated, but perfect for the Karon Beach scene), staff are friendly, and wifi is fast enough. The location is perfect, with dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. It's right on the main beach street, but set back just enough that it's quiet. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great hotel! A beautiful beach with stunning sunsets. The room is big and beautiful, clean, the service is good. The location is a little less convenient, but a short walk to the central area. Across from a beautiful beach I really enjoyed staying there. Recommend!

Overall, a decent property and for the price offered, a good deal! There were minor issues like AC automatically got reset to 27° and there was some water leakage in the bathroom but it's right opposite to Karon beach so the minor issues can be ignored. However, I would like to point out that they ask for a very high security deposit of 3000 bahts. Most hotels ask for lesser. The breakfast was also average. Wish there were more veg options.

The building is certainly not new but it is well maintained. The resort has a small parking lot where a dedicated staff manages and coordinates the parking spaces. A small parking lot for a beach front hotel in Pukhet is already a lot. As soon as we arrived the first impression actually was not good having met a bad welcome at the reception. No greeting, no welcome, for sure no smile from the front desk receptionist (no Thai citizen), the ask for our passport just with a head gesture. Apart from this episode the staff is very professional and helpful. The room are spacious and important.... very clean. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is big with shower box and bath tub. The balcony of our room was facing the swimming pool where the tiles on the bottom move a little bit but where the water is clear and clean. Just outside of the resort, at walking distance, is possible to find many restaurants, shops, 7eleven, pharmacies, etc. To go to the beach just cross the road. We also really enjoyed the rich breakfast buffet included in the room price.
