Excellent service and delicious food on KR Cat catamaran. New boat with large beds, a lot of space. Cool water toys, super friendly staff, really beautiful experience

Beautiful resort! We stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa and it was stunning however there was a strong smell of sewage which we notified the staff of however nothing was done to rectify. Overall service was excellent however management need to review their policy regarding payment. We extended our stay which was paid for upfront however were harassed via various staff in person and phone calls multiple times over the next few days to pay for room service bill etc. To the point that 3 staff came to the door during our stay to chase payment and refused to leave. Very strange policy for a 5 star hotel and having stayed in many hotels I have not experienced having to pay prior to checkout nor be harassed like this. After addressing with management we did recieve an apology and a complimentary bottle of wine which was a kind gesture however we did feel that the experience left a slightly sour taste for the rest of our stay. Overall a great place to stay if visiting Kata Beach - a shout out to the restaurant/room service manager/waiter who went out of their way to keep us stocked up with the chefs amazing hummus! 🥰
