Great stay, good location pretty close to the High Street Kensington tube station. The room was modern and clean; the shower wasn't great but a decent one is seemingly difficult to find in Central London. The pastries at breakfast were unexpectedly high quality, as was the dining room in general. I can't comment on any air conditioning issues as I stayed there in September when it was relatively cold. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be on this side of London.

Sonder Kensington Gardens is a truly beautiful hotel. The rooms were gorgeous with high ceilings, lots of light and modern yet comfortable furniture. The location is amazing, just a 2 minute walk to Kensington Gardens and close to underground stations. Plus, the free breakfast was such a wonderful treat each morning!! The only annoying thing was when I arrived at 3pm, I was told my room was ready but I could only go in before 4pm if I paid £16…even though my room was ready. Other than that, I loved my stay here!

We stayed at Sonder as we were seeing a show at the Royal Albert Hall so it was a great location. Kensington is also very pretty. We both worked from the hotel during the days and it was a great spot to work from, with comfortable chairs and fast wifi. The breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet - especially for London. Would happily stay again!

I stayed at Sonder for 7 nights and it was perfect experience. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was offered including bread, coffee, orange juice, and fruits free of charge. I was bit worried at first since website says there will be no staff at the front 24/7. We had bit of electricity issue at 2am in the morning, I used the chat service in the app. Staff came to our room right away and fixed the problem in 30mins. Amenities are placed on the 1st floor and underground floor, you can grab it whenever you want. If you need extra towels, you can ask the staff at the front and they will bring it to your room. One thing I would like to point out that is Cleaning the room will be extra charge. it would be great if they offer cleaning service for free if you stay there more than 3 or 4 days. Me and my friend went out for touring during most of the stay at Sonder, so didn't need of cleaning service that much. 2 train stations/lines are 10mins ways by walk, there is a bus number 9 which runs 24/7 to most of the tourist spot. I definitely would recommend this place and Sonder would be the next accommodation that I will stay next time visiting in London.
