KKinn South Pattaya Hotel

They didn't deserve one star to be honest. Unprofessional service and a rude receptionist ruined our stay in Pattaya. So here's what happened. We booked three couple rooms for a one night stay. We reached the hotel around 10:45 AM and completed all the paper works. We also paid 1500 baht for security deposit. The rude receptionist said we cannot early check-in, but if we want we need to pay 200 baht for each room, which we agreed without saying anything. We paid 200 baht for one room just to keep our luggage inside, we were six people and already paid everything for three couple rooms. At that moment the rude receptionist said no, you can't go above. Only two persons can go in the lift. We were like "what? we have completed our booking and paid for early check-in for one room - and we are just going there to keep our luggage". She said "No, only two persons can go, all others must stay". The rude receptionist handed us a rule sheet where surprisingly we saw a note like "We may charge 1000 baht if your bedsheet is dirty" - we were like "what????" one more time! At this point, we were really disappointed because two of us had to carry six persons luggage and it was annoying. It was 11 AM and we decided to cancel our booking for the other two rooms. The receptionist said we cannot cancel and she will not pay anything back. We said we haven't even checked in for those two rooms, but she was extremely rude at that moment and angrily said "Don't talk too much, sit, you cannot cancel" We told her to call her manager or someone who she was reporting to. She didn't reply a thing as if she didn't hear us. After a couple of minutes when we told her to call her boss, she did call and that moment her boss said that "they may check-in early without any payment". Look, she already charged us 200 baht for early check-in and now her boss is saying we can check in without any payment since all those rooms are empty. We didn't even get the 200 baht back that we paid just a few minutes ago. The receptionist and her boss didn't cancel our booking and kept our money. And we felt so insulted that we left the hotel immediately. Only one of us stayed in that room which we paid for the early check-in. The other five of us left in search of a new hotel with all our luggage and other belongings. This is my worst experience so far, being treated like this from an arrogant, stubborn and rude receptionist. We have traveled to many countries in the past and stayed in many places ranging from Airbnb, budget hotels, bed-and-breakfast to five stars, but never seen anything like this. We don't recommend this place to anyone. Runaway from KKInn South Pattaya Hotel. Just leave.
