I really liked my stay there. The staff is very helpful and speaks good English. The whole place is a beauty, very stylish. The common area is the best part. I’ve seen staff cleaning everyday even if I wish they would do certain things like the stained shower glass doors with more precision, vinegar is miraculous 😜 It’s in a very quiet side street of Bangkok and if you use grab or bolt you can book a taxi or motorbike easily. There are trains passing by every day but it didn’t bother me. The area is not the fanciest but I never felt unsafe on the streets. Many little restaurants and street food stalls everywhere. They seem to be renovating the area around the tracks but at the time of writing the constructions sites were down the street. Only the breakfast is not the best. Super simple and not very tasty. But it comes everyday with a handwritten and personalized inspirational quote which is super cute. The women’s dormitory was good even if a bit narrow and no window - which is a common thing tho. And the best: they have friendly cats roaming around that will end up chilling with you.

Pros -Kloem is a beautifully designed super clean hostel. - breakfast is amazing! -The beds are comfy and there's a reasonable amount of privacy. -Extra shout out to the staff who go out of their way to answer questions and make sure you're comfortable. - There's a market with plenty of inexpensive food and great public transport with the airport line and MRT trains stopping ten minutes away - super safe residential neighborhood Bonus pro: 2 fluffy cats 😍 Caution - There's just enough place in the dorms to get to your bed. Forget about having access to your suitcase/rucksack - there's no natural light so the dorm remains in perpetual darkness - the common areas while cosy, are not air conditioned - this is a quiet part of town so it's perfect if you want to escape the city but probably not a good idea for a first time visit - note for solo travellers This is not a social hostel despite communal areas. I've had more conversations in hotels.

The stay was fantastic, I guess. Here's a list of the good and draw backs of the place. Pro: - The hostel staff are all young, very friendly and super helpful. Can speak fluent english so the communication is much easier. - The hostel will get you your breakfast. Basically from nearby stall. If you're a Muslim, they'll get you a halal one. - Got cute cats. - Facilities are tremendous. - High security since everyone need to pass through the reception before proceed to rooms. - Much storage space in dormitory bed space. - Foods, restaurants, convenience store is nearby, including halal ones. - Bed is clean. Cons.: - a bit far from main road. Gotta walk to find taxi or go to nearby metro. - Dormitory space is a bit narrow.

Clean and cool space. The floors were made out of wood so you could hear anyone walk which was unfortunate. It is in a poor area too which doesn’t show you online. It’s like in an ally with lots of garbage everywhere. It’s right by a train too which is very loud at night. The AC could be a little bit better. Didn’t work that well for how hot it was. There were some travellers who were quite drunk and loud who we could hear through the walls which was unfortunate. They do have two cats that are vaccinated who will hang with you which is quite cool.
