Absolutely stunning hotel. Really nice and modern architecture. Located just in the middle of the old town of Matera. Breathtaking view from the rooms. Great breakfast and really friendly staff. Totally recommend. We will come back.

Very nice hotel in a great location for exploring Matera Sassi. Our host Elisabetta was lovely and very helpful in helping with our transportations. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautifully styled room, with amazing view on the terrace. The breakfast is well prepared and nice. However, there is no price list for the mini bar, and on the day of check-out we were told that we had to pay for the drinks. The price is reasonable, but we would appreciate it if they can put a price list in the room next to the mini bar.

Style in the stone, but not as good as pictured and difficult access. You have to park in the new city and take a shuttle in. The directions they provided weren’t accurate and the driver was kind enough to look on his phone to help us or we would have had trouble finding it. Then you have to climb 30 steep steps to the entrance. Inside is more visual than comfortable. The glass walled bathroom felt dangerous. The view from the terrace is good and the candles in the niches were a nice touch. The AC and internet worked well. The breakfast does not start until 8:30 so if you have a flight to catch, you’re out of luck. Basically, it was overpriced for the experience.
