My wife and I stayed on September 1st and 2nd to visit the wonderful city of Matera, Italy. We were pleasantly surprised to find our first hotel to be the best we were looking for. First of all, We were greeted by its owner Eustachio. He first gave all the the details of the city and his family before providing our room details. We found the room had all the amenities, comfort and safe features we were looking for. We also found a large spread of of food, fruits, and drinks for us to use. The room was impeccable clean and very modern. He also checked with us at least twice a day to make sure everything was OK.. To top it all, we now have two new friends with Eustachio and his wife Benedetta. We strongly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

We had a TERRIBLE experience here. There was no receptionist to let us in during their check-in hours (3-6) and we were forced to book another hotel after waiting 2 hours to hear from them. Lamia still gladly took our money though and refused a refund of over $160 CAD. Their lack of hospitality was ridiculous, highly stressful and the worst part of our trip.
