I have been a La Quinta patron for a very long time and have had excellent experiences and service at various locations across the country. The state in which the La Quinta Omaha West location was kept was below any margin of acceptance. To be clear, the receptionist's communication and comprehension were vague and ambiguous, and multiple times I had to clarify my reservation. Arriving at the location, the surrounding conditions and grounds as well as the state of the buildings were kept up, but in a fairly minimal manner which leads me to my next point. The number of cleaners and what seemed like formaldehyde, and or the masking of the obvious urine smell in the lobby was atrocious and nauseating. The rooms were kept in a fairly similar diminutive and minimally clean state and there were obvious attempts at masking and or cleaning the smoke, urine, and alcohol smells and strains present. I immediately demanded a refund and left. At the time of this review 7 January 2024, I have yet to receive a full refund. I cannot in any fair conscious recommend this location.

It was a $50 room off the highway... Dirty, odd smell, no breakfast, no pool or spa. No elevator. Dark parking lot. Gross dog area. If you need a few hours of sleep before you hit the road, it works. Would not recommend bringing a family or picky wife here though. It only gets 2 stars because it's cheap and allows dogs. Water was hot at least.

This place needs the city inspectors to come and close it down. This place smelled horrible and did not worth a cent of my money. On top of my daughters having sensitive skin and now they have rashes on their bodies from laying in the bed for a second before we decided to leave the place right away, the furniture all the way to the lights; nothing was up to code to stay there and their was no coverings on any outlets. I will be calling to get a full refund or I will be bringing this up to corporate 100%. My skin is very irritated as well. Stay far away from this hotel. It is nothing like the photos and is not worth getting ate up by bugs or running into the possibility of bringing anything back to your home. I can NOT believe this hotel is still up and running this long. If i could give this hotel no stars I definitely would. I only gave it a chance because i was on the road all night and needed to get some rest. I regret that choice 100%.

First of all if you are looking for a luxury hotel- THIS IS NOT IT. If you want a cheap place to stay this will work. The staff were friendly. The evening guy was hard to understand. Very broken English and I'm hard of hearing. The rooms need some work. I attached pictures. The towel rack was falling off. The bathroom ceiling was unfinished. The bathroom door wouldn't shut. The closet ceiling was filthy. You can also see stains all over the bed skirts. The main issue I had was no hot breakfast. Everything was shut down and bag breakfast was offered. I always book hotels with hot breakfasts. When I made reservations I was guaranteed a hot breakfast. I had 2 rooms so this added a $30 breakfast bill each morning. Also NO coffee. We were told it was a water issue and I can make coffee in my room. The coffee pots in the room were too dirty for me to use. The pool was outside and closed. As far as staying again- doubtful. Even though it's a cheap price the extra money spent on breakfast made it actually more expensive. I've noticed the hotel will respond with the same message as on previous reviews. The problem is nothing gets done and the same problems are ongoing.

I hated it. My first room smelled like cigarettes. The 2nd one smelled like cigarettes and deodorizer. The fridge was dirty. The towels looked unkept. When I closed the shower curtain..a dirty wash cloth fell from the top. I was disgusted. The phone didn’t work. None of the lamps had light bulbs and when I went to the front to get lightbulbs..the lady insinuated that I was lying saying that was impossible. Like why would I have to lie about lightbulbs?? Lol. The staff were not friendly. It was a warm shelter during an emergency but if I could help it, I would not stay here again.
