It was a pleasant surprise when we arrived at the hotel and were given a whole apartment instead of just a room. They clean the apartment every day and upon arrival, they give you a generous supply of coffee, tea, and cookies. The room itself was quite spacious and had two wardrobes for our belongings. The kitchen was also well-equipped. We definitely plan on choosing this same hotel when we return to Rome again. Additionally, it only takes about 30 minutes on foot to reach nearly every tourist attraction in the city.

Centrally located hotel near almost all major attractions in Rome and facing Castel Sant’Angelo. The area near Vatican City felt safe also at night. The service was ok, late self check in was possible, however communicating late check in with the hotel is recommended. The isolation in the new building isn’t very good, so was the room temperature very low at arrival, also in the bathroom, but we could get an electric heater the next day. The room was ok overall, the bathroom was small but everything necessary for a short stay was there.

Right in the middle of it all. Walk to any of sites. Vatican, castel Sant’Angelo, colosseum, pantheon… Caffe’ and restaurant is right there where a stay! The host and staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. My room was comfortable and spacious and clean and at a good price. I will definitely return to La Residenza Dell’Angelo!!
