LA Mayor and LAHSA converted the hotel into homeless shelter with the “Inside Safe” city program That’s why some of your reservations are being canceled I would guess the city also pays more, since they have an endless budget Don’t take my word for it, google it

Front desk/owner was incredibly rude. Was trying to make conversation while checking in and he just seemed irritated. Then I asked about the security deposit since there was a sign about it. He became volcanic and threatened to cancel the booking then and there without a refund. I was like, dude chill. Luckily the rooms were nice, albeit small. But definitely would not stay there again. Kudos to the cleaning lady. She keeps the place spotless, is actually nice, and I’m sure she doesn’t get paid enough.

Great little spot! If you're here to do the "Hollywood Thing" I can't imagine it gets much better. Literally a block from the stars. Aside from location the rooms are cozy, modern, and CLEAN! Staff is prompt, helpful, and friendly. If you're looking for a box hotel experience, it's probably not for you. But if you want the charm of Hollywood, stay here!

We made a reservation for this hotel from booking one month before our trip. Hotel send us massage one week before the trip saying they cannot accommodate our stay and we need to cancel our reservation. They didn’t even provide information about the reason of cancellation. We learned that the reason was overbooking from booking customer service. They had three weeks to cancel the reservation but they waited until last minute and put us in a difficult position. I don’t recommend to rely on your reservation at this place!!!

Rooms were very small, only room for the bed, two nightstands, a TV, and the bathroom, but it was very comfortable and clean! My sister and I were only there for one night to see a concert and it was a great place to just crash for the night after walking around Hollywood all day. Staff was very polite to us, I haven't a singular complaint! Would definitely stay here again.
