Elif was so amazing! We had a great conversation about Turkey and she was so knowledgeable. Coming from America I was so glad she knew English as I don't speak the language of Turkey. She showed me around the hotel and told me about the many amenities the hotel has. I love the Le Méridien and so happy that the have a wonderful person like Elif working for them! She rocks!!

*****avoid this hotel**** It’s a 5 stars hotel with zero star costumer service. Employees are very rude and arrogant And their managers are even worst. They are not welcoming, at all and you smell the cigarette in hotel specially at the entrance.They all look grumpy and pissed all the time.the sushi restaurant in the Hotel is another disaster they try to scam you by adding items to your bills that you never ordered and they barley speak English it is very hard to communicate with the waiters. That also applies to the employees of the hotel they barley speak any English.They have no idea what privacy is in this restaurant. Had very bad experience in this hotel. A hotel to avoid at all cost

Awesome hotel, right in the heart of Istanbul. Great welcome by the staff (special thanks to our receptionist Mr.Serkan). He provided us a nice offer by upgrading our rooms to executive suits with great view of the Bosphorus and the magnificent bridge. Ms.Elif helped all family getting familiar with the hotel. The rooms were always clean (thanks to Mrs.Deniz on floor 17). Strongly recommend anyone who loves Istanbul.

I stayed at the Meridien for 2 weeks, and it was a very good stay, the rooms were wide, the furniture is very good, not new, but was okay. The restaurant was very good and they have a very lovely staff. But they were a bit slow when we came to dine in in groups, the food is overall okay. The staff in general are very friendly and welcoming, they attend to people very quickly, and with good manners. The location is very good quiet, safe, and very elegant neighborhood. But its not for tourists, its more for people wanting to stay for business… but all in all the location served the intended purpose for me hence 5 stars…
