Marriott Leipzig Nice, appealing, well-located hotel, about a five minute walk from the train station and 5-10 minutes to all inner city attractions in Leipzig. Our king room was spacious, well appointed and in good shape with large windows, a comfortable arm chair and a large, soft bed. The lobby is welcoming and there is a small gym as well as a nice pool and jacuzzi in the basement. There were only a few small drawbacks. The bathroom floor had some spots on it and body lotion as well as the free water were not restocked during our stay. The bed tended to transfer movement, so if one person is a light sleeper, they may wake up whenever the other one is moving. Our key card never worked for the gym and pool area even though the front desk re-keyed it multiple times (up to 6 times), and drinks in the bar were very expensive for a relatively tiny amount. We didn’t book breakfast but didn’t need to as there are several options nearby (we especially liked Lukas). The price was reasonable at 120 Euros per night and we enjoyed our stay in one of Germany’s most beautiful cities.

Hotel is nicely located, close to city center and Leipzig central station. The room, although a bit old, was clean with an small fridge, a vault, good WiFi and very comfortable beds. They have a small gym and a swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was OK. Overall, I enjoyed my short stay.

The location was great, we can just park the car in the hotel and walk around to enjoy the city. Maybe because the building is old, the hotel's hardware might not be up to date. For instance, the entrance of the parking lot is very narrow, we have an electric SUV which is often wider, so it was very hard to drive in or out, also there wasn't a charging place in the underground parking. The room was very clean and had a chic decor. The bed was very very comfortable, we slept really well. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, the dining place was rather dark and small, food was not as variable, especially after we just had a great breakfast experience with another franchise hotel. The Room was cleaned up every day, but we found the small handtowels was still damp after the housekeeping cleaned the room, so we were not sure if those towels was new, or they just folded the used but not dirty ones that we left on the ground... eitherway we didn't touched those towels again. Another things that is new to us,the hotel blocked 100euro for possible room damages as we checked in, we paid 25euro/day for the parking, now we are back at home for 3 days now, the 100euro is still to be unblocked. Overall it was a good experience, but not great. I hope they will improve in the future.
