Hotel Leonardo has offered a great experience both for me and my girlfriend during our recent visit to Budapest. It is well located and connected with the rest of the city both with bus and tram. The neighbourhood is quiet and full of places for eating, having a nice breakfast or just relaxing. The staff is really kind and helpful, the facilities are new and clean, and the rooms are comfortable and warm. If you come to Budapest for a music experience on Barba Negra hall, it is nicely connected through public transportation. Highly recommendable and affordable.

The Leonardo Hotel in Budapest was amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, the bathrooms were beautiful. The included breakfast was amazing. I normally eat very little at every meal, but everything was so good that I ate very decent sized meals. The croissants with fruit were warm and melted in your mouth. They had something for every taste. Loved the whole experience. It was also a great location and the restaurant next door was amazing.

Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. We stayed for just one night for a business trip, but we didn't miss anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had huge variety of both sweet and savoury options and also hot meals to choose from. The hotel was not too far from the main road from where you could hop on a tram and go to the city centre. There were also a few nice cafés nearby. Would stay again!

The staff are great, but the rooms are cramped and noisy. Absolutely no sound isolation between the rooms, on one side we had someone who wouldn't stop talking on their phone, and on the other side was a family with multiple small children including a baby screaming randomly in the night. So not much sleep for us. Location is okay, but many other options are more walkable.

Avoid! Stolen items. Housekeeping stole expensive make up items and the hotel manager said the hotel cannot take responsibility and we should put items in the safe. I tried to explain that we cannot fit all our items in a tiny safe. Dior, Ysl and Charlotte tilbury taken which is valued at more than £110 they waived a €70 fee as compensation and didn’t seem very sympathetic. Standard rooms are horrendous spent the first night listening to the guest next to us snoring. Quickly upgraded to the superior room which was better but still very average. Booked the hotel as it seemed good value for a 4 star and we never usually stay in our rooms much on city breaks but I wish I paid the extra £100 for somewhere nice where our stuff was safe. Since seen on Google reviews other guests have had money and cosmetics stolen. I never take the time to write reviews but would like to warn others of our awful experience. Enjoy Budapest elsewhere!
