Pros: Great location and walking distance to the train station. Nice customer service. Very nice the view of the side street with good sound proofing. Beautiful layout and well equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, dishwasher, high end dishes and a large refrigerator and freezer. Comfortable bed, small bathroom and clean everything. Cons: Scary stairs with no elevator and we were on 3rd floor so had to navigate very dangerous stairs with those energy and efficient lights that turn off in seconds leaving you with bags in the middle of stairs so be mindful of you have any mobility issues, children, elderly or poor sight. This was the first time the unit required payment for coffee sachets so I was put off by that. No instructions on how to operate appliances. Overall great place and I would highly recommend.

What a great find in the perfect location! The apartment is wonderfully stocked, fully updated, and very large (for Europe). It is perfectly located a very short distance from the old port with the old town and the newer side the of the port area on each side of the apartment. The staff were very friendly and helpful, not only with the room but also with our Uber driver. The next time I'm in Marseilles, I will definitely stay at this property again.

Great location, clean and modern apartment with air-conditioning, and very warm and friendly welcome! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Marseille. The bed was also super comfy, wish we had booked more nights :))

My husband and I booked Les Appartements du Vieux Port the night before boarding a Mediterranean cruise leaving from Marseille, France. We were extremely pleased with our stay. In fact we really wished we had planned to stay a few days longer after we arrived. The staff were all amazing and made the check in process easy. We received a call the day before with instructions on on checking in. It was our first time to Europe and we were afraid of language barriers. The front desk receptionist spoke fluent English. She was eager to help and even gave us her cell phone number if we needed anything. She checked on us to be sure we got in ok after providing keys and recommended where to eat and things to do which was so helpful. We are very thankful for her as she made our stay exceptional. The room was perfect for us. It was very clean and had a mini kitchen. The location was awesome. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops and entertainment. It was easy to catch a bus or train just a short walk away and taxis were plentiful. The city of Marseille is beautiful and one of our favorite stops from our 2 week cruise. The only thing to be aware of is that in Europe they count the first floor what Americans would call the 2nd floor as they start at ground zero where we start at ground 1. With the buildings being older there aren't many with elevators so be prepared to take luggage up a flight of stairs. That would be the only negative even though it is not their fault and common for the area. Overall we highly recommend this place and we look forward to staying here again sometime.
