Super comfy and clean bed. Great bathroom with large shower/bath. AC unit worked and windows opened easily. Could be more drawer space but it's a historic building and the rooms are a bit more cozy than what Americans are used to. Breakfast options were good and tasty. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The nearest tube stop is about an 8-10 minute walk, but you're only going that once a day if you're touristing right.

The London Lodge Hotel is a convinient quiet traditional hotel in Kensington. The price for the rooms are fantastic considering other hotels in the area. Rooms are spacious, clean and have nice bathrooms with excellent service and good beds. Breakfast at the London Lodge is continental or traditional English. We had continental whilst we were at the hotel, which included fruits, cereals, bread, cheese, meats and more. It was well presented, cleanly prepared and was always being carefully refilled by the staff to ensure the best quality food was available for the guests at all times. The most fantastic aspect of this hotel is it's staff, from its warm and welcoming atmosphere, to its pleasant smiles and goodbyes, the London Lodge felt consistently like a place we longed to return to. Special shout out goes to the reception staff of whom me met Juliette, Nicole and Tomoko. The reception staff were the most warm and welcoming people who would always solve problems and give amazing recommendations. Staff at the reception truly make the hotel a place which feels like a home from home, and I will miss the hotel dearly because of their warm and pleasant conversation. I would absolutely recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. I have stayed in many hotels in London, but none have made us feel as welcomed and at home as this hotel did. The staff are a major part of this. I will be staying here again, whenever I have the opportunity to return to London. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, and again, special thanks to the reception staff. I do not often give five stars, however, in this instance I have no option but too, the whole experience was wonderful, and we only were sorry that we could not stay here longer. Many thanks, K. Me and my friend stayed here for an event in London. When we arrived we were welcomed with such warmth by Julliet, and shown go our room. When arriving to the room it became clear that there was a mistake. We needed a twin not a double. Julliet couldn't do more to assist with the mistake and make us feel at ease! We ended up in a standard twin for a night, which was perfectly fine till it was resolved. Again nothing more could have been done any better. The next night we ended up talking to Tomoko, who is beyond warm, kind, genuine and a delight to be around. How she put up with our drawl is beyond me. What becomes clear from this staff is that they're genuinely wonderful people with huge hearts. Upon our leave, we met a lady Nicole who stored our luggage and again, she reflected the same feelings too! The room, bathroom and the resources were awesome too! The breakfast was okay, and certainly did a job but can't win at everything. If you're looking for a place that is warm, welcoming and has staff that make you feel at home - I would whole heartedly recommend here. I will be staying here again.
