Decent good sized apartment not very modern but ok for a few days. For the price it's a large apartment in a perfect location near Hyde park. Good modern kitchen, excellent for families, but the beds need updating, they are too old. The Paddington apartment had a large double bed and two single beds. Not clean outside of the apartment building. On the pavement there was trush dumped by others living in the nearby building, seems like some of the apartments or nearby apartments are used as homes. Strong smells coming into our apartment of some others cooking onions at 10pm, had to open the window which made things worse. It was ok for 2 nights we were out most of the day and used the apartment after 7pm to rest and sleep.

Terrible service, rude receptionist and a pain to gain access. 45 mins after check in we eventually got our keys. The hotel could be lovely but it's almost like a squat inside. Avoid at all costs. However, the cleaner was lovely and was very helpful.

Read before booking - When I first came in I was so happy with the spacious room and the little kitchenette. After a couple of nights, I really wish I booked elsewhere, the state of disrepair is beyond horrific. There is no reception so god forbid you lock your key in your room or it loses it's magnetic capability, otherwise you would have to travel a long way to get that sorted out or wait for ages for it to be brought to you. When it was raining during the night, the water leaked through the fifth floor, to my room on the 4th floor waking me up and leaving puddles on the floor and my bed. If you turn the radiator on, the clanging sound is so loud I would rather be cold. Sometimes the reception staff are very helpful and kind but others just totally apathetic. I am never staying here again, far better service in a one star hotel, it really isn't worth the hastle.

Booked last minute due to our airbnb host cancelling and had few options to chose from, they clearly jacked up the price for last minute at £116 a night. Upon arrival the place is called something entirely different (Lyngate House? 🧐) and had bags of rubbish outside the front door. No reception (for the best so no face to face confrontation from the rude man on the other end of the phone 😳). Check in took 40 minutes as did the 4 other couples who were also attempting to check in when we were. Place definitely needs a revamp, it was really giving me American motel vibes : lift felt like something out a horror movie, our toilet seat had been painted white 😆, and the shower couldn’t decide if it wanted to burn me or give me hypothermia. On the positive side, very comfy bed, pretty clean, great location, good view from windows and nice kitchen (that you won’t cook in, don’t kid yourself). Although I initially was not pleased with my stay here, it did grow on me. Probably wouldn’t stay here again though, but it did the job
