I don't usually write reviews, but I was very disappointed. This was advertised as a 4-star hotel... but the room was very dated. The furniture didn't match with lots of wear and tear/ falling apart, the decor was dated, photos on the wall are crooked, big/cold/drafty....just overall not a very comfortable setting. The old sliding glass door to a shared outdoor space along the perimeter of the building did not feel secure. The amenities in the room were very minimal/ low quality.... Also the walls are SO thin, I was woken up multiple times overnight by people just walking to their rooms. Overall I would expect this quality from a hotel at a fraction of the cost (I paid almost $400 for one night). Also, $20 for a glass of wine at the bar? that's way too expensive... The staff was very friendly and helpful, but once in my room I felt like I was in an old motel (adding photos to show the quality/condition of the furniture in the room). I hope this hotel takes the recent comments to heart as it is well overdue for a massive upgrade/remodel.

We used to come here all the time and always rent suite 212. We will no longer be returning. Normaly we call ahead to have some appetizers ordered for when we arrive. They told us the reataurant wasn’t open until 4 and then failed to add that room service would not start until 5 PM. Good thing we brought our own appetizers and drinks. They cut staff so bare bones to the point restaurant hours have been shortened, room service no longer available in the morning and reduced hours in the evening, our room was not ready at check in (we had ordered a Sooth massage that was on its way) and the bar was closed while waiting for the room to be ready. The front desk was not clear on restaurant hours of operation as they gave us different hours of operation than what the actual restaurant gave us. Person on staff in the evening at restaurant was kind of a jerk. He took our dinner order at 8:30 then when we asked for the dessert menu - he simply said the restaurant was closed. This would have been good information when we placed our order initially. In the morning there was only one waiter. Poor guy did an excellent job, but he had the whole restaurant to himself. We run a tab of a few hundred dollars in room service - which they lost out on. It is unfortunate but whatever new management they have has turned us off and this should no longer be rated as a 4 star hotel. It’s more like a 3 star.

I would not recommend booking at this hotel. I wish I had read these reviews prior to booking. The rooms are very dated and creek when walking. You can hear noise from the rooms next door. The rooms are extremely dated with nasty carpet. I didn’t want to walk barefoot. Thank goodness I was only in town for 24 hours as I would’ve been extremely disappointed booking more than 1 night. Would highly recommend updating the rooms and removing carpet. There is a stench in the rooms and hallways.

I'm extremely frustrated by how much I paid for an experience that was really disappointing. I've had much better stays at plenty of generic 3-star chain hotels. When I got to the room, the desk lamp did not turn on. It had probably been unplugged because there are so few outlets near the bed for people to charge devices. When I crawled under the desk to plug it in, there was a bloody tissue from a previous guest. The overall layout of the hotel separated among 2 buildings that are difficult to walk between is extremely inconvenient. We were forced to stay in an ugly ADA room with no carpet on the floor, that was in the upper building, separated from the rest of the people in our party. The room itself felt like a dingy basement apartment - not welcoming at all. There was trash in the little planter outside our ground floor room. Possibly worst of all, the noise insulation is not adequate. We got woken up very early in the morning by people talking at a pretty normal volume. Noises from people talking in other rooms or opening sliding doors came through extremely clearly. On top of the nasty condition of the room, it's a giant rip off that the hotel charges $50 per night for parking as an add-on, as if anyone has a choice about bringing a car in LA, and then still makes people use the valet. I can think of 2 positive things. I enjoyed the pool deck itself while I sat there, and the bed was pretty comfy when I wasn't being woken up by noise.

Not so great experience in December 2023. 1. We booked a double queen room, they gave us a double full room and wouldn't reimburse us for the difference since they shorted us. 2.The room was full of water damage in the bathroom and didn't look like the photos online. 3.The front desk assured us we would love this room, great view of The Getty Art Museum and we got a view of the 15 foot hedges, no view. Spoke to the front desk at check out and totally ignore it and just responded with "do you want a printed receipt". If you are going to stay there, ask for the main hotel, not the one by the pool, and book the 2 fulls so you get what you pay for. There are also other hotels in the area for the same price.
