Luxury Suites - Stay Inn Rome Experience

As other guests have said it is a scam, they claim to be a "guesthouse" and not a hotel, we made three nights’ reservation, the worst part is the hygiene, when we entered the room there was a strong odour (maybe is cigar), when we showered we found the bathroom door cannot close at all, before we went to sleep we found stains on the sheets and dirty pillowcase, these were photographed. We felt itchy all night and ended up sleeping under our own clothes. The next morning we cannot tolerate then leaved and found a new hotel, we raised the above issues with the hotel and asked for check out and a refund for the two nights and were refused by this ‘guesthouse’, and they ignored our email, no reply, then refused our refund request through agoda. Having seen other residents in the same situation, we knew we wouldn't get our money back, so we did it as a charity. Hopefully they can take the money and do a good job of hygiene and improve their rooms. I also queried how the 4 star rating it shows on agoda, the customer service replied that the ‘guesthouse’ uploaded the information by themselves and agoda didn't have any review on it, so guests can choose this hotel according to your tolerance.

It’s definitely a scam. We book it via Agoda, and follow the check in instructions. No one answer the bell, phone or WhatsApp for over 1 hour. After that, the host finally responds me on WhatsApp and keep me waiting for 30mins more. What a bad experience I ever had. Cancelled immediately even no refunding. —————————————————— What a joke haha. I booked it by my email but the host said that he cannot contact me. How would it be possible? Luckily, I booked another nearby hotel immediately and the hotel contact me for check in procedures at once. Such ‘4 stars luxury suites’ didn’t instruct us and even let us wait for more than an hour under hot weather. Strongly recommend not to book this ‘guesthouse’ called by the host.
