Such an amazing place! The views of the waterfall are a lifetime memory that you won't want to miss. We also did the trek down to the boiling pot which was disappointing as there was nothing there except you're just on the side of the river. No boiling pot. And it's very difficult with constant steps down for about 15 minutes and then coming back up the same, slippery steps of uneven rocks. Not too bad for a healthy person but if you have any mobility challenges you should not attempt the stairs. There are also a lot of baboons along the stairs to greet you which are harmless as long as you don't tempt them with any food or shiny objects or try to pet them. We did not hire a guide for the waterfall and it was definitely not necessary. You can walk and see everything following the trail on your own. Unless you prefer to have someone to give you information and history but it's not necessaryin order to have the same excellent viewing experience. Definitely recommend to spend $2 and get a rain poncho upon entry to the waterfall trail. Entrance into the national park for the waterfall is $20 USD per person.

Absolutely breathtaking. Has a stone pathway and shaded with trees. Lots of different angles to see the falls. Lovely photo ops. Very hot, so carry lots of water and a handheld fan and dress cool.

Incredible! Must see. Go during the dry season for best viewing. It's less water over the falls but that allows the best visibility. While there book a helicopter with Flight of Angels to see the falls from above.
