[Do not come to this hostel] 1. Baggage storage fee after check out When the guest check out, it is very normal to leave their baggage for a while and take it back on the same day. Usually the hostels do not charge anything (i travelled to 23 countries in my life, from my numerous times of experience ). But this hostel charge 20 reais (4usd) just for luggage storage. When i checked in, no staff told me. Because everything is written in Portuguese, they did not have english version. 2. Only 2 showers (the rest are just toilet with no shower facilities ) . Out of the 2 shower, only one is hot, another one is only cold shower. 3. Lost of stuff: I put my stuff on my bed and under my bed. Things are gone. My roommate also lost money and shampoo when she left it on her bed. The owner did not take actions even though there is frequent lost of things. 4. Poor wifi: sometimes the wifi did not work. 5. No response on whatsapp While you have time to reply the comment, please use your time to improve your service. Do not always rely on unpaid staff. When I whatsapp the hostel, they never reply to me. But you now have time to reply on google review.

Nice hostel located conveniently close to the bus station. Ideal for travellers looking for 1-2 quieter nights perhaps at the start or end of their Rio adventure. The property is nicely decorated with lots of space downstairs for chilling out, reading, watching TV/football and so on. Rooms and comfortable and good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Good breakfast. The owners are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome. It’s also a 10 min walk from a very large upmarket shopping centre. Overall, very nice hostel.

The hostel is located very nice and the staff is very very friendly! There is also a variety of snacks that you can buy for a very fair price. I would definitely recommend this hostel at any time!
