We used to stay here a lot and was always first class. Haven’t been there for a few years and it’s gone downhill. No mini bar in the room. Informed on arrival we would need to request if we wanted housekeeping to clean the room. (That’s a new one for me!) Breakfast buffet very poor minimal choice and not replenished when things run out. Even when you asked the staff to still didn’t happen. The staff were friendly enough but just not professional. All a bit 3 star.

During my recent stay at The Marrables in London, I encountered a mix of positives and negatives that shaped my overall experience. Negatives: -Shower Condition: The most disappointing aspect was the shower. It was in a dire state of cleanliness with the showerhead covered in calcium, and the drain nearly clogged. -Radiators: Even when turned off, the radiators made considerable noise throughout the night. This was a significant disturbance to my sleep. -Windows: Another issue was with the windows, which didn't close completely. This not only affected the room temperature but also raised concerns about noise. -Room Size and Storage: The room itself was quite small, which was manageable, but the lack of adequate storage space was inconvenient. There were hardly any wardrobes, though a safe was provided. Positives: -Bed Comfort: Despite its small size, the bed was quite comfortable, which was a relief after long days of exploring the city. -Complimentary Refreshments: A delightful touch was the free self-service station in the corridor, offering water, tea, and coffee. This was a much-appreciated convenience. -Location: The hotel's proximity to the metro station and its central location in the city was a major plus. It was conveniently close to many attractions and amenities, making our exploration of London easier. Conclusion: While The Marrables boasts a great location and some comforting amenities, the issues with room maintenance and comfort cannot be overlooked. It's suitable for short stays if one is willing to compromise on certain aspects of comfort and cleanliness.

Really nice room on the top floor,views of st pauls,shard,very comfortable bed and nice little touches like Robert’s dab radio ,nespresso machine,shower was a bit lame but a great hotel stay
