Rooms nice. Dishwasher door broken, but it works. Had the toaster replaced. View of the ocean looks over the roofs of businesses on the beachfront road. If you can block that out, you have a nice view. Amenities and activities are not to the standard of most vacation clubs we visit. We do like the easy access to restaurants and a few specialty shops. Easy drive to ship ports, malls, casinos, etc. Parking is an issue. We need an accessible space because of a scooter and have yet, on day 6, been able to get a handicapped space. Spaces are VERY narrow, most next to large concrete posts.

We got a suite with two rooms and sofa beds and a kitchen. It was a Greta room. Multiple balconies, two king beds, two sofa beds, multiple bathrooms, three TV's. It was clean and great of you need space. Parking lot is a little tight but not a bad price for right at the beach. Pool, hots tubs and patio bar are nice. Lots of seating. Right across from the beach and close to all the restaurants and bars

I've been coming back here because it hits the necessities when in Fort Lauderdale but it's not the best. The location is great! I absolutely LOVE that there is a 24/7 CVS downstairs. I travel with my young family when I come here so this has come in clutch every time. It's my favorite place to stay before going on a Cruise because you fly in and then buy your toiletries, suntan lotion and all that stuff (including beach toys!) while you stay there before you get on a cruise. The part that makes me dock a star is that no matter what time of day, what year or what anything the service is always..... not giving, like think of the least helpful, very dry, just a bummer. The folks are not rude, they aren't going out of their way to be mean but it really feels like everyone doesn't like working there. My last stay I happen to run into a very nice manager who was so sweet but out of the 5 times I've been there this was the first time I experienced a nice encounter LOL The review isn't to deter you from staying here- it's a good location but it's simply to manage expectations.

Fort Lauderdale is the main attraction. If you are a swimming pool fan, I don’t recommend this hotel from Oct/November thru April, as the sun is too low in the sky, so the Marriott towers block the sun. For a vacation club, the amenities, and most importantly the staff, fall short. We were not given a schedule of events, perhaps that is why the few we happened to be around for, were very poorly attended. When calling on issues with the room, staff failed to respond on the first outreach. Lastly, with only 4 elevators for a 20 plus story building, prepare to spend your time waiting. Even the cleaning and maintenance staff cram into the elevators when guests are riding. Again, if you spend all your time on the beach, this place is a good value. But much improvement in regards to customer service is needed!!
