Very nice little guest house with super friendly and helpful, competent staff. And indeed, just as another guest here mentioned, "we were welcomed by Ovidio as if we were long lost friends". During check-in he explained where to go in the city, and how to get there, and explained the SIT shuttle service that has a stop right at the guest house. The rooms are somewhat dated but that only added to the charm, they were clean and in perfect condition. The street can be quite noisy, so be sure to bring good ear plugs or close the window overnight. WiFi was not fast but usable and stable enough. All around a wonderful place to stay!

Perfect location for seeing all the main sites. We walked everywhere from the hotel, including the Colosseum. The guy at reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not fancy but they are nice, cleaned every day, strong shower. Someone else said the wifi was not available in the room, but I had good reception and the wifi was fast. I really liked the old style building with the antiquated elevator. There's a supermarket across the street, which is handy. My only criticism would be that the old style windows let in a lot of noise from the street. I always travel with earplugs though, so it wasn't an issue for me. I highly recommend Marta Guesthouse.

Really nice place to stay. Stayed here eith my partner and her parents really friendly staff who welcomed us in with open arms. Rates for stay were very reasonable and rooms were nice great location close to everything will be back again in the future!

We stay for 1 week and it was perfect. Location is good for those who wants to visit Rome center, near is St Angelo Castle, Navona and Vatican are 5-10m walk. From Piazza Cavour you can go everywhere by bus. Airports and Termini are reachable as well. Market is across the road. Staff are great, friendly and very helpful. Room was cleaned everyday and service was great.

Amazing host who took his time to show us on the map where to go in Rome. He gave us lot of great tips and suggestions. Supreme position - 20 min of walking to every major site. Only Colloseum is like 40 min. Decent rooms. Nothing fancy but worth the price. We were really happy to stay here. Only downside was the WiFi - not signal inside, only in the halls. We had to use mobile data. Very close to Vatican and Angel Castle.
