Very nice hotel and well located. The rooms are spacious. The service is not always very good though. The breakfast is good with a nice view on the mekong but they should renew a little what you can eat (for people like us who stayed for several days).

Nice location, Deluxe rooms are upstairs and have a nice bacony with a nice view on the Mékong river. Rooms are clean but very noisy, particularly when the staff start his cleaning at 8am. Don't intend to sleep late! Their restaurant, the View Point is absolutely not good, this will include your breakfast treat, even if you paid for breakfast with the room, I would suggest you just go somewhere else to enjoy a proper breakfast. Unless you fancy oil, salt and sugar very much.

We sincerely loved our stay at the Mekong Riverview Hotel. The staff was fantastic, and we really appreciated the room upgrade upon arrival. The balcony out front was a fantastic place to read and watch the Mekong flow by, and the restaurant had spectacular views as well in addition to great food. We will be back.

If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it. The service was incredible - thank you, Noi. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river and it was perfect. Aircon and a fan in the room. A large shower room and separate toilet with toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers. Breakfast was at a cute river view restaurant and a fridge with drinks was included in the room. We put on some laundry here in the morning and had it back by lunch time. Noi was so helpful with transport, tours and the train. We would happily stay here again.

Awesome hotel a short stroll from tons of good restaurants, night market, and boat dock! They even have some free bikes that you can use to get around town when you get tired of walking. Had a small issue with the shower head in my room; instead of waiting on maintenance guy, they immediately switched us to a different room, much nicer one too, and did it at no extra charge! Staff was incredible and very helpful when we had any questions. We will definitely be back at the Mekong Riverview next time we are in Luang Prabang!
