Room is clean but it should be renewed. Hotel is located in front of the highway which separates it from the coastline. So it’s very noisy, but the view from the balcony is nice. Breakfast is simple and not very tasty. For staying for 1-2 nights it’s OK.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience in this hotel … It’s located in a highway so we couldn’t open a balcony door due to the noise … The breakfast wasn’t special, just 3 mini pieces of cheese ,vegetables and one plate you choose … Room service was the worst actually , we asked them to clean the room they left the dirty dishes as they were .. they taken the cups we’ve used and didn’t put rather than them… the sugar old and wet…The fruits in room not fresh and mouldy… We also called the reception and no one answered…

Forget staying any where else in Trabzon. We were booked in another hotel in the Maydan area and abandoned it for Mell Hotel. The property is modern, spacious and very clean. It is well staffed and they, for most parts speak English. Breakfast service is very unique in that they serve you a plate full of cheese and jams…. and then offer an a la carte of eggs or other hot item. They were more than happy to bring us anything on the cold plate that we wanted more of. Also don’t let the other reviews influence you about the hotel being located near a petrol station. You hardly see it and the store is a great place for a late nigh snack not to mention a very convenient place to gas up before returning the rental car. Property is very close to both the old and new sections of town. Free parking was provided

Our stay in this hotel was very convenient. The staff was friendly, welcoming and cared a lot about pleasing the guests, the hotel seemed to always be spotless clean, and everything seemed to be brand new! It was also just a couple of minutes away from the airport. One thing that was a negative was the fact that the hotel room was a bit small(but livable)and that the walls were a bit thin. We were at one time able to hear our neighbor’s TV playing! Nonetheless, it was a very good place to stay in for 3-4 days.

Hotel by itself is nice, clean and comfortable but in a wrong location just behind a gas station and a highway. So even though we had a balcony with sea view, we can't open the balcony door due to the noise and dust below. Paying more for sea view is a waste of money. You also have to drive 15 minutes to town center to eat and shop. The worst part was its money value. We have been travelling around Turkey for over 4 weeks and this hotel is one of the most expensive ones (even 20% more expensive than our cave hotel at Cappadocia !). Its breakfast however, is the worst. It came on a pre-set tray with just a few pieces of cheese, a few olives, little vegetables, a boiled egg and just one kind of bread. Drink is limited to orange juice and tea. No fresh fruit, no choices of pastries, cereals. Yes, you can order a fried egg or omelette (but no filling). That is it. Glad that I cut short my stay from 3 nights to one. Not worth the money.
